Our
Story
When Jarred Fixler relocated from the East Coast, he found himself too overwhelmed with a corporate job to work on his own bikes. After working with several “performance” shops in the Los Angeles area, he was left frustrated. Piecemeal parts on a Ducati, a BMW with missing parts, and a simple oil change that resulted in a down cylinder on his R6 was more than enough. If you want something done to your standards, you have to do it yourself.
Our story starts over 10 years ago, on top of a washing machine in a single-car garage.
Celebrating over a decade in business, Motorsport Exotica started as Jarred Fixler’s solution to a very niche-problem. The ‘solution’ would put him, and Motorsport Exotica, on a trajectory to craft extraordinary machines, win championships, and become the ‘solution’ for 5000+ other bikes along the way.

Our story begins in Monterey Park, a quiet residential area perched on a clifftop overlooking downtown Los Angeles. It's 4am and the lights from an open single-car garage flood the area. Inside that garage is roughly 100qts. of oil, 67 tires after the dog ate 1, 30-something motorcycles spilling onto the sidewalk, 3 loose motors, an additional motor on the washing machine 'workbench', enough accoutrement to fill a Snap-On truck, plus Jarred and all his buddies. For about 6 months, until LA County caught wind, and he was served a Cease and Desist letter in-hand, there was no better time to make it official.Â
• Motorsport Exotica was born out of a necessity for a performance shop that offered engineering and craftsmanship at the highest level, candid guidance, and white-glove service.
• As a small-company filled with riders alike, we "get it". We pride ourselves on taking the time to educate our clients, whether it's reasoning for/against something, setting an expectation, or helpful tips to make the most out of your machine.
• With hundreds of clients that have been with us since day one, we've strive to create an environment and experience that makes you feel like family.
• From track days to race watch parties, we host regular events designed to connect the community, on-and-off the bike.
