Our Story
Motorsport Exotica was created out of necessity over 10 years ago in a single-bay home garage. When owner Jarred Fixler relocated from the East Coast, he found himself too busy with a corporate job to have time to work on his own bikes. After trying several local “performance” shops in the Los Angeles area, he was left disappointed time and time again. Shoddy work on his Ducati, missing parts on his BMW, and a simple oil change that resulted in a down cylinder on an R6 race bike made him realize that if you want something done to your standards, sometimes you have to do it yourself.
Many long nights of wrenching on bikes alongside his friends, word got around the bike community and the jobs started rolling in. Eventually Los Angeles county caught on and he was served with a cease and desist as who knew you couldn’t run a full repair facility out of a home location? Pallets of race slicks and drums of oil were consistent deliveries, bikes lining the entire neighborhood sidewalks was common and with that Los Angeles cease and desist letter in his hand it was time to make this a proper facility. Motorsport Exotica was born.
We believe in the White Glove experience. Spending time to educate our customers on their motorcycles, parts being used and reasoning for each modification. Setting realistic expectations on what the changes will feel like on the bike and making sure we over-deliver time and time again. Motorsport Exotica will never shy away from a conversation or a shop tour. We want all our clients to feel like family while working with us and strive to provide knowledge on all aspects of what we’re working on. Our bike family should always feel like they are walking away with more than when they arrived.

We Tour High Performance Motorcycle Shop: Motorsport Exotica
At Motorsport Exotica, we live for the thrill of speed, the rush of adrenaline, and the timeless quality of performance excellence.
Jarred Fixler’s passion for performance cars and motorcycles began at a young age. Growing up, he was constantly found tinkering with anything engine-powered, from scooters to his parents’ lawn mower. His curiosity and love for mechanics developed in the family garage, where he spent hours wrenching and learning the inner workings of machines.
When Jarred was old enough to work, he secured an apprenticeship at a local performance automotive shop. Instead of playing after-school sports, he chose to work at the garage, cleaning floors, taking out garbage, and performing general maintenance tasks. Despite the work being unpaid, he was driven by the invaluable experience and the chance to be surrounded by the cars he loved.
It wasn’t long before that passion opened new doors. The same shop where Jarred had started as a cleaner recruited him to race sports cars, a dream come true for someone so dedicated to the craft. Just as his career in automotive racing was just taking off, Jarred discovered motorcycles. After his first ride, he knew that bikes would become his true passion.
At 18, Jarred began working on friends’ bikes in the modest setting of his apartment. Along with his buddies, he specialized in general repairs and performance modifications. Around his early twenties, he started participating in track days, eventually earning his race license, which solidified his commitment to the sport. His life became consumed by motorcycles, and at 24, he made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles with a dream of opening his own performance shop.
